Explore the Vibrant Oasis of Tamanrasset
Tamanrasset, also known as Tamanghasset or Tamenghest, is an oasis city and capital of Tamanrasset Province in southern Algeria, in the Ahaggar Mountains . It is the chief city of the Algerian Tuareg . Tamanrasset is a tourist attraction during the cooler months. Visitors are also drawn to the Museum of the Hoggar, which offers many exhibits depicting Tuareg life and culture.The surrounding region, located entirely within the Sahara, is a vast, extremely dry area. Its physiography includes the large sand dunes of the Grand Ergs Occidental and Oriental in the west and northeast and the Tademait Plateau (a sandstone and limestone escarpment) in the north. The Ahaggar is an arid mountainous plateau (more than 900 meters above sea level) extending about 1550 km north-south and 2092 km east- west and culminating in Tahat, a peak 2918 meters in elevation. Eroded sandstone plateaus (Tassilis) extend from the Ahaggar. The sparse population of this region is partly settled and partly nomadic. The nomads principally inhabit the valleys of Atakor (the highest areas of the Ahaggar) and graze camels and goats where the scant rainfall is enough to support a steppe like growth of grasses.

At least one author must register for the submission to be included in the conference proceedings. The registration fees must be paid on site

Authors are invited to prepare an up-to-three page extended abstract using the abstract template available on the conference website.
